On behalf of the Association of Management and Social Sciences Researchers of Nigeria (AMSSRN), Professor Uche Lucy Onyekwelu, PhD, FAMSSRN, President, writes to express AMSSRN’s sincere appreciation and commendation to His Excellency, Dr. Barr. Peter Mbah, the Executive Governor of Enugu State, for the donation of 400 modern desktop computers to ESUT.
Professor Onyekwelu notes that with this landmark intervention, Governor Mbah has yet given another quantum support to Experiential Learning, Research, and Innovation in Enugu State.
The provision of these modern facilities will significantly enhance teaching, digital literacy, and research capacity at ESUT and further affirm that the Human Capital Development Index of Enugu State is on the rise.
We also heartily congratulate Professor Micheals Nnabugwu Okolie, the Vice Chancellor of ESUT, on this monumental gift. His leadership continues to position ESUT as a centre of academic excellence and innovation.
Professor Onyekwelu notes that His Excellency’s administration’s commitment to strengthening research capacity and promoting practical, experiential learning is both commendable and strategic. This intervention will go a long way in equipping researchers, students, and faculty with the tools needed to drive evidence-based solutions and sustainable development in Enugu State and Nigeria at large.
Professor Onyekwelu noted that the fact that the computers are Enugu-backed makes the project a unique one, which as it will support both sustainability and enhance job creation.
AMSSRN celebrates this milestone and reaffirms the associations commitment to advancing management and social science research for national development.
