The Association of Management & Social Sciences Researchers of Nigeria has organized a 3-day conference event in Abuja, Nigeria. We’re looking for professionals to join us as we explore the possibilities around research, innovation and collaboration for sustainable socio-economic development: challenges and roadmaps.
Developing countries have struggled to develop their economies because of inherent factors and in some cases the lack of funding for research that can help fast track their development. However, through collaborative efforts including research, policy analysis and publication of papers with international institutions we will be able to create an opportunity for identifying the factors that are inhibiting sustainable growth of developing nations.
We need you to come to this event so that together with fellow participants we can:
1) Discuss issues concerning research, innovation and collaboration as it relates to sustainable socio-economic development
2) Exchange ideas about related topics which can also include other guiding thematic areas like governance, social issues, economic development and social entrepreneurship.
In countries like India they had incorporated innovation as a developmental tool that today is yielding positive results. By providing a platform where researchers can come together in a friendly environment such as this conference will help open channels of collaborations among the participants leading to future developments that will enhance Nigerias socio-economic development.
3) Discuss the challenges and opportunities that lie ahead for Nigeria and how we can address them together through collaborative efforts.
4) Identify research gaps in this field of study and plan to collaborate on projects that will fill these gaps.
5) Identify opportunities for funding and collaboration on projects that will fill these gaps.
6) Identify potential collaborators who are interested in working with you on future projects as a result of this conference.
7) Discuss what has been learned from the previous conferences and make plans to improve on them for future editions.
The conference will be held in partnership with Central Bank of Nigeria, TetFund, University of Abuja, Nile University, and will be hosted virtually and In-person. The conference will bring together academics from different disciplines including business administration, economics, finance and accounting.
The first day of the conference will be dedicated to academic presentations, while the second day will focus on practical sessions that include case studies and panel discussions. The third day of the conference will be devoted to presentations by the various speakers. The conference is open to all researchers in Africa and beyond who are interested in exploring issues related to emerging markets.
The conference will explore the following themes:

-Emerging markets, innovation and entrepreneurship
-Emerging markets, technology adoption and integration
The conference will take place from October 25th to 27th at Conference Center, Nile University, Abuja, Nigeria.
